Sewer guy here today, city inspector tomorrow, then ROAD TRIP. Will see if a 9 yr old car is up for it.

WEDNESDAY

I'm sitting here waiting for the electrician to come and do an upgrade on our electrical system, but of course another problem has occurred, our sewer has back up again. Oh well, mopped that up and will deal with that problem another day, just no showers for a day or 2..lol.

This upgrade is needed on this old house if or when we sell it, it will help in the value, besides any new owner would probably insist it be done before purchase. So since we both still have jobs, might as well do it now then later.

It means I get to be without electricity for the whole day if not longer, oh my, I'm forced to read a book or something..lolol.

So, signing off and will return some day, I hope!!

Oh, and yesterday I re-chalked the bathroom tub, see I can do things around the house if I force myself to do it.. :)

BEFORE

This is just one of my projects to do on vacation, clean the basement!!! Most of this stuff is what I hauled out of Dad's home a few years ago and thought I would want to keep it. There are old tools and such which have seen their worst for wear. Time has passed since Dad's death so am going through the stuff again and throwing most of it away, it time to de-clutter. I realize the only thing I need to remind me of Dad was the Grandfather clock he made, and that is being well taken care of now.

These are before pictures, hope to have after ones in a week or 2.

Will be practicing

On July 3, I will be practicing retirement, how you ask, by taking vacation thru the 21st. It will be so nice not having to get up at 4AM and going to work. Nothing is planned, just do some work around the house plus a small road trip to somewhere.

Ahhhh...2 more working days.

QUESTION

How does one separate their work from play, or maybe I should ask, how does one play and not think about work?

Or I should probably ask is how does one play?
