I had my eval at work again today, actually you don't meet with your boss but they give you it in written form and if you have a problem with it you are suppose set up a meeting. So I am reading it at work this afternoon and found out that my better qualities are......I meet the dress code and don't smell..lol. Thank God for that at least.
So, I have also been labeled at passive aggressive in this eval, this is where I need your help. I am not psych major nor want to be and have no idea what this means. I have googled it and became disturbed with with their definition and need feedback from you.

Work
It has been a long time since I have talked about work, and I do try to keep it from happening but there have been some issues I need to express. Our small dept has another person leaving the beginning of the year because she is being forced to. She is a wonderful kid who works very hard and does a wonderful job, but it seems there was a misunderstanding in her work agreement. She was hired for a full time position two years ago, but became pregnant with her 2nd child and delivered last August. She had talked to both bosses saying she needs to come back part time, only decreasing one day each week in order to attend to her children and continue with her schooling. The bosses agreed with this and they told us so, however it seems now they do not remember this conversation and have told her she is not working her agreement and must so or leave, so she is leaving. It is so hard to deal with management who blatantly lies, you can't win.
So, on to another subject. I have a friend who I have worked with for many years who husband had an aortic valve replacement a week ago. He is 73 yrs old and was doing fine until his 6th post op day. He coded which means his heart stopped and went back into emergency surgery. He had so much fluid built up around his heart that it stopped it from beating. He is in God's hands right now but if anyone s willing to put a prayer out for him, I would appreciate it.
update...I heard that my friend's husband passed away last Saturday, and what makes this so tough is that it was elective surgery. It went terrible wrong.

I was finally able to use this puppy today after work since the Twin Cities was blessed with 6 inches of fresh snow. I manage to get it started after several attempts, I always have a problem with this "choke" switch because I have no idea what it is for, but did manage to get it going. It took an hour to clear the driveway with it, twice as long then the bigger model I had, but at least with this one I can carry it to the front to clear out those sidewalks, and it's far better than shoveling.
However, spending an hour outside in 9 degree weather with a windchill of 10 below is not fun,,,,,I'm still shriving.

She has smashed most sales record for an album and yes, I am one of those who bought it. I think it is marvelous and truly believe she has been gifted with this lovely voice from God and we finally get to hear her. Her version of Amazing Grace, which is my favorite song is wonderful, for me, it's better than Elvis ...and that is saying a lot...lol

Interesting thing happened at work today
Our tiny little department has lost another new employee, she turned her noticed in after only 3 weeks of work. She had actually found a better job within the system and willingly admitted that PPA was not meant for her..lol.
My Nurse Manager stopped into the dept (she tries to stay away) and asked the 2 remaining HUC's (my title) why can't we keep new employees very long. We just looked at each other and told her we have no idea. :)
Boy, did that take a lot of restraining power for me to say just that. So, once again, my job has become very secure again.
